Ashfield begin production for new customer in Beauty industry

For the first time in volume production, this month sees Ashfield delivering an aluminium screw top canister with external coating over the thread and coloured caps.

The container will be used to hold a hair styling product for a UK based beauty product manufacturer.

First time exhibitors Ashfield Extrusion delighted with DSEi success

As first time exhibitors at this year’s Defence & Security Equipment International (DSEi) exhibition, Ashfield were delighted with attendance figures and leads generated from the show.

DSEi played host to the world’s largest display of land, sea and air applications of defence and security products and technologies, and confirmed its attendance figure this year as 29,112, an increase of 16 percent on the previous edition in 2009.   The exhibition featured 1,391 exhibiting companies representing 46 countries and included 30 national pavilions making it the largest DSEi ever.

Following the success of the show Ashfield now plan to add the biannual exhibition to their events calendar permanently.

Ashfield to exhibit range of aluminium impact extrusions  at DSEi 2011

A long standing supplier to the defence industry worldwide and forerunners in the manufacture and supply of Impact Extruded components, Ashfield will be exhibiting their range of products and services at DSEi from 12th-16th September at ExCel London.

Supplying a diverse range of components, Ashfield understand that high specification components demand the same from a manufacturing process.  Impact Extrusion offers many of the characteristics essential to the Defence Industry where exacting tolerances are paramount.

Amongst our specialities are decoy/chaff cases, cartridge cases, signal flares, smoke canisters, detonators, ogives, impulse cartridges, less lethal, rocket motors and flight tubes.  We will also be featuring a range of our aluminium canister packaging solutions, which are suited to many uses in both military and civil applications.

Ashfield Saddles Up For New Range

Aluminium packaging supplier Ashfield Extrusion Ltd in Nottinghamshire recently added a new size to their existing screw cap canister range.

The 100/R3 diameter cans, developed in conjunction with Carr & Day & Martin, manufacturer of horse care products since the 18th century, are currently available in 2 sizes.

As well as in-house dry offset print lines, Ashfield offer cap embossing for no extra unit cost, just a one off tooling charge, allowing the customer to further promote the brand logo or identify the product.  Carr & Day & Martin chose the emboss option to successfully showcase their Royal Warrant for the supply of Saddlery products to her majesty the Queen of England.

Synonymous with high quality, aluminium continues to provide an effective way to update an existing brand, draw attention to re-launches and promote a look of value.
